Mated By The Demon Collections: Paranormal Romance Page 28

He continued to move her up and down for a few seconds and slowly decreased his speed. Stopping he pulled her down to him and kissed her deeply. Her eyes were still filled with the deep look of pleasure he had caused.

Rose lay beside him, her breathing slowly going back to normal. She didn’t know how to explain how he had made her feel. Her mind seemed to be incapable of thought at the present moment. Instead she placed her head on his chest and closed her eyes.

He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her tight to him. Soon his eyes were closing and sleep hit him.

  ***

Rose could feel his breathing slow and knew that he had fallen asleep. Her eyes were heavy with sleep as well. But as she was closing them she felt the rush of pleasure spread through her body again. All she had done was picture him as she was on top of him, and the feelings that had went through her body.

She almost felt like she was reliving the episode in her mind, seeing it vividly as well as feeling his touch on her body. It was like little hot flashed quickly igniting her skin. But she didn’t want to wake him up, he sounded so peaceful right now.

Her hand reached down and she lightly touched his now flaccid member. It was impressive even when he wasn’t hard. But as she examined it more and more, she hadn’t even noticed that his eyes were open. His cock was getting hard and before he knew what was going on, he had her rolled over in front of him.

“Bend over, yes like that.” He directed her to have her on her hands and knees, her rear facing to him. He put his member on the opening of her pussy and pushed forward. She was still soaked from the juices he had left in her just a little bit ago.

He didn’t even know how long he had slept, or if he’d even slept at all. It didn’t matter no how matter his mind was telling his body it should be, he couldn’t stop the erection. So instead he was pussy his cock head into her opening right now.

Catan felt her body as it welcomed him back inside. The walls of her pussy were so tight against him. She moved her body back to him and he thrust forward into her. Rose moved her body like she knew exactly what to do. They worked together and soon they were both crying out as their bodies messed as one.

This time they both wrapped up together and closed their eyes. They were fast asleep before they knew it.

  Chapter 8

As Rose slept she thought about how their future would be together. She pictured a land that was foreign to her and the most beautiful fields filled with green. Looking around she saw a small cabin, not as small as this, but a bit larger. She heard laughter coming from inside. Going to the door she stopped and looked inside.

Inside the cabin he had found Catan and a little boy, the boy had looked exactly like his father brown hair and dazzling grey eyes. There was no doubt in her mind she was looking at one of their children. She watched as they played together and heard their mixed laughter.

From another room she heard a baby crying out. She had walked into the other room to find a little baby girl. Looking down Rose had seen the little girls red hair poking out from under the little cap she was wearing.

“Hey sweetie, momma’s here.” She said and picked up the child.

Going into the other room she had delighted in the sight of her husband and son again. Rose couldn’t be happier than she was at this moment. There was nothing that could take away the pride she felt at that second.

“Rose come out her now. I know you have a McCloud in there with you. We don’t want you to get hurt in the battle. Please get out her now.” She saw the fear in Catan’s face and he swept up his son.

Rose woke up quickly; she just knew her brother was outside right now. The fear had her tense with fright. She shook Catan. “Did you hear that?” She whispered to him. If she spoke too loudly she knew that they would hear her.

“What’s wrong angel?” Catan asked, looking worried.

“Did you hear anything?” Rose whispered. “I swear I heard my brother outside.” Rose said.

Catan looked at her. “There’s no one moving out there right now. The snow has got people locked inside.” He said.

“No I heard him yell. Please let’s go.” Rose was scared; her body was beginning to shake in fear.

He grabbed her hand and tried to get her up. The fear had her locked in place. So he finally picked her up and took her to the front door. Opening the door she saw that he was right. There was so much snow on the ground it had blocked about half the door opening. He quickly shut the door.

“You feel better now?” He asked, wrapping her up in his embrace.

Rose put her head on his chest. “Yes, it was just a bad dream. Not all of it, it was beautiful too. But I woke up so abruptly I figured it was because hearing my brother was real.” She stated.

“What did you dream about? Sometimes talking about them will help you out.” Catan offered.

They had since made it back to the bed. Rose lowered her head onto his chest and started to talk about the dream. “We had a little boy and girl in the dream. It was so nice. The boy looked just like you, and the girl had red hair like me and your nose!” Rose commented.

Catan squeezed her tightly. “Oh I like the sound of that dream!”

Rose smiled it was so nice. You and our boy were playing and laughing. Our little girl had been sleeping and woke up when you and our little boy were playing. So I went and got her out of the crib. She was beautiful too. Both our kids were perfect! But then I heard Alick outside, telling me he knew there was a McCloud inside with me. That I had to come out so I didn’t get hurt in the fight, he planned on killing you. Then I woke up and thought I had heard him for real.” Rose said, her face growing sad at the memory of the fear she had felt in the dream and actually when she awoke too.

“No wonder you were panicked when you woke me up. I’m sorry angel if I could I would protect you in your dreams too.” Catan held her close. He kissed the top of her head.

“I know you would sweetie.” She murmured. “Let’s try to get a bit more sleep.” She said and closed her eyes. She was exhausted and knew that Catan was even more tired. They didn’t wake up until the next afternoon.

  Chapter 9

It was already a month since she had woke up that one day. They had been snowed in the whole time. Unable to go outside much, they found other ways to keep themselves busy.

Today he went to the door and opened it up. “Hey the sun is out today; I think it will help melt a bit of this mess. If we don’t have a storm later on today or in the next few days we may be able to get out of here. You sure you still want to go?” Catan asked.

The discussion of what they would do had been a daily talk. He really didn’t want to take her from her family, but no matter how many times they would weigh out the options. Catan would always come to the same conclusion, it was best to run. To begin a life in another land, he didn’t know where, but they would head down South. It was the only way he could think of going. When he thought of the other directions he could only picture enemies in their wake.

Whether it be from the McCloud side of the McDougal side, it seemed like both families loved the taste of war.

“I wish our families had at least a few allies here and there in the highlands. I really don’t know what waits us on the outside of this area.” Catan stated.

Rose looked at him, she was well aware of the history of her family and had no doubt his family had the same background. “Well if we wouldn’t have been so quick to fight just about everyone at the drop of the hat we might have a shot. But for some reason they just chose to fight and never see if peace would work.” Rose sighed.

“When we have kids in the future we will make sure they know what peace is, I promise you that Rose.” Catan said to her, cupping her chin in his hand.

She loved the feel of his touch. Rose looked up and smiled. “That’s what I want to have too. Now let me get some food for us.” Rose headed off to make something for them to eat. If they might be traveling soon there was food they should eat up quick
ly. They would be able to take some of it along, but not all of it. His cabin had been stocked for a long stay.

Catan smacked her butt when she went past him. They had become very close in the past month. They had learned each and every inch of the other person’s body, and had enjoyed it too!

Rose smiled as she went to the kitchen to cook up food. It wasn’t a large cabin and she could see and talk to Catan easily from where she was. “When we get to the new place can we get married?” She asked.

“You better know it. Although you know I already consider us married and that is good enough for me. I’ll just buy you a ring and we can tell everyone what our name is, anything we want it to be.” He smiled.

“I would be proud to have my husband’s last name.” Rose stated.

“We talked about this before. I would love for you to have my last name. But we can’t be sure when we are out of this area, or out from the threat of someone killing us just because we are McCloud. So I can’t take that chance. We might have to make up a name. I’m sorry, but maybe one generation they will know better.” Catan stated.

Rose knew he was right, but that didn’t mean she liked it one bit. She brought the food back over and sat it in front of him. Taking her seat she looked at the food, she felt famished, like she hadn’t eaten in days. Digging in she soon felt the rumblings of her stomach. She got up quickly and ran to the sink in the kitchen. All of her food came back up.

She came back to the table the feeling of sickness still making her food look unappetizing. Finally she moved the plate away, any thoughts of trying to eat more were gone. It was the third day in a row that she hadn’t kept any breakfast down. Rose remembered when one of the maids in their home had gotten pregnant. The same thing had happened with her, she couldn’t keep her food down in the mornings. Rose could remember her complaining many mornings about how upset her stomach felt. She looked over at Catan; she had mentioned this the day before when she had gotten sick.

Besides the morning meals Rose felt just fine, that was why she thought she might be pregnant. They were still snowed in and there would be no way to make it to a doctor. Not only that, what doctor could they possibly go to nearby? It wouldn’t be long before one or both sides of their respective families would hear about their visit. Even with only horses, news traveled fast in the area. Or at least this was a reasonable fear they both had.

“If you really are pregnant we need to get going as soon as we can. Beat the chance of them coming to search in this area.” Catan said.

“I know. If we wrap up warmly can we make it? How close to somewhere we’ll be able to stop for a night? We have so many things to consider. I’m really worried Catan. I don’t want my brother to come looking for us; you know I’ve had that dream more than once now. I almost feel like it is becoming a bad omen, a warning even.” Rose stated.

“I know. Well let’s see how long this warm weather holds out. If it is still around in two days we’ll go. We can’t afford to wait any more than that. As far as where we can stop? I’ll have to sneak you in; you’ll have to cover up so no one will recognize you. I know that you say you haven’t been out much. But all it takes is one person who knows for sure you are a McDougal and you’re dead.” Catan knew they would have to go through an area he knew. It was somewhere that the McDougal name would surely have no questions asked. It wouldn’t matter if he explained she was his prisoner even. They had thought of this lie, but it had been an idea that was short lived.” Catan commented.

“I don’t have a problem, I’ll be perfectly quiet. Let’s just get out of here as soon as we can!” Rose finally said.

Catan shook his head in agreement. They really didn’t have a long time. He wasn’t sleeping well either. He hadn’t told her that he had begun to get bad feelings the more she had the dream about her brother finding them. Though she said during the dreams they were never in this cabin, it still spooked him how often she was dreaming it anymore.

  Chapter 10

The rest of the day they talked about the plans and which way they would travel. The hope was that the weather would hold up and they would get out before anyone would from her family.

“It may be possible.” He pointed out. “There is plenty of snow out there. I know the way out of here; I mean at least to back near my way. Well go that way then down south. Just to make sure we have somewhere to stay for the first night. When we are there I’ll get a map, and find a simple path to the south. We’ll be safe; I promise I will protect you with my life.” Catan stated looking at her squarely.

“We’ve been through this before, now there are three of us, we need to make it.” Rose commented.

Catan knew she was referring to the fact that Rose would fight to the death to save him as well. Even with the baby in her belly he was sure she would still do the same thing. Little did she know that he would make sure she was safe, he didn’t know how, but he knew there must be a way. That was only if it came down to it though. He hoped they would have an undetected trip south to safety.

For the next couple days it seemed all they did was talk about the plan to get away. Now that Rose was pregnant it was more important than ever for them to keep the family safe. They needed to make sure that neither the McCloud side nor the McDougal side learned of this pregnancy.

Finally the morning arrived and they headed out while it was still quite dark out. The snow had continued to melt a little and Catan knew that the time was best to move now. Rose was wrapped up in many layers, a bonnet and several other layers of clothes covering her head and most of her face.

  “Are you ready?” Catan asked.

“I am indeed my love; let’s go keep our little one safe.” Rose commented.

“We have some ways to go before we can get away from it all. I would say a good few hundred miles to the south. But first we’ll go about 25 to the west. Stop at a place I’m fairly comfortable with and get some more supplies. We’ll be okay, just remember to stay covered.” Catan stated as they walked out the door.

“I don’t think I’ll have any problem staying covered it is cold out.” Rose stated, as she covered her face almost completely. Only a little bit of her face was showing. As she got behind him on the horse she covered her face up completely. She had just a little spot that allowed fresh air to come in, but besides that her face was not noticeable.

“I love you, hold on and I’ll be careful. But I don’t want you out in this weather for long. I’ll take the right provisions to make the rest of the trip easier on you though.” Catan stated.

Rose was too cold to ask anything, she simply moved as close as she could to his back and hoped that the trip would be over quickly.

It went by as slow as she had imagined. Her fingers felt like icicles and her body felt frozen to the core by the time they stopped at the little inn. Catan helped her off the horse and inside.

Rose knew she needed to stay covered up, thankfully due to the weather she wouldn’t seem like she was doing anything out of the ordinary. They got a room and Catan took her too it.

“I have to go do a few things.” He said as he got the fire going. “But I’ll be back as quickly as I can. Just warm up as much as you can, and if you want after that you can get some food ready for when I come back.” He had brought in the bag of food they had brought on the trip.

“Okay, please hurry. I’m nervous. We are completely in McCloud territory are we not?” Rose asked.

“Yes but I’m safe here remember?” Catan stated.

Rose hadn’t even thought about that, instead she had simply figured he would be an enemy to them now as well. But how would that be the case? She would be out of sight. So as far as they knew it was just business as usual another McCloud. Still her body thrummed with nervousness the whole time he was gone.

Instead of sitting beside the fire she paced the whole time, continually avoiding the desire to go to the window and look out. Surely someone would realize something was up if she did this, after all w
hy would a person who felt comfortable be looking out the window every two minutes?

She heard someone at the door and hid, she wasn’t sure why she felt this fear spread through her body. But as she heard him call out her name, she relaxed.

“Hi, that took forever.” She ran to him and pushed her way into his embrace.

He gladly welcomed her into his arms and smiled down at her. “I see you missed me!” He laughed.

“I missed you, but I couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched or just fear. I guess because I know if anyone knew who I was they would kill me.” Rose said sadly.

“They would do that, unfortunately.” Catan admitted. Not happy of how his fellow man was behaving, but wise enough to know they didn’t have long before they would have to move again.

He was worried about someone who saw him in town relaying the information to his brothers. Catan knew that they would come to see him, at least one of them if not all. Because it would be odd, they knew Catan would spend most of the winter months in the cabin. They also knew to leave him alone unless he approached civilization during this time. He had made it quite clear many times in the past that the cabin was off limits to everyone but him.

It had been his pride; he had built it with his own hands. He had found building the cabin helped with the frustration he felt when around his family. He hated the constant fighting with other clans, and would often argue with them about peace.

“We need to seek peace with these clans.” He had said on more than one occasion.

“You are not related to me.” One of his brothers had told him the first time Catan had uttered his opinion to him.

“Son are you crazy?” His father had asked him.

“No dad I think he’s just a pansy.” His other brother had stated.

Catan remembered how much they had ridiculed him each and every time he had said it in the past. Finally he knew it wasn’t worth his time. He had found the spot of land; it was far enough from his family they wouldn’t be able to easily find him.
